How to create a Fun family holiday

Hey, my lovely readers!

I wrote this quick post to share my two fun Christmas tradition with you all, since you guys have become a part of my family.

My two fun Christmas traditions are:

The first fun Christmas activity is to  have the family wraps a gift for someone in the household and hide it around the house.  (Like a Christmas scavenger hunt) Then on Christmas morning everyone goes around searching for that special gift.

I love this, because I think this is so fun to watch the facial expressions of your loved ones when they find it.Hfont1

The second Christmas fun activity is more personal and self pampering. Print out 10 of your favorite quotes, and then ask your spouse, siblings or a friend to pick three of the ten and put each one of them in a gift box. Hfont

Then ask them to hide it in a place that you might find it when you are having a bad day. Make sure they hide it in an intimate area.

I love this, because is such an amazing feeling to find your favorite quote on a hard day; especially, when we know that those quotes were wrapped, and picked out with love, for us from our loved ones to uplift us.

As a bonus ill share with you some of my favorite quotes in case you want to borrow some lol

1-“Success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.” ~Winston Churchill

2- The best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today(H. Jackson Brown, Jr.)

3-Start by doing what’s necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.(Francis of Assisi)

4-I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.(Jimmy Dean)

5-“The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.” ~Lao Tzu

6-We must let go of the life we have planned, to accept the one that is waiting for us.(Joseph Campbell)

7-Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose.(Lyndon B. Johnson)

8-“Dream big and dare to fail.” ~Norman Vaughan

9-“Tough times never last, but tough people do.” ~Dr. Robert Schuller

10-“The best way out is always through.” ~Robert Frost

There you have it, my Christmas fun tradition, hope you try it, and share a few of your own traditions with me ;}

I LOVE THIS!!! Actually made me tear up thinking about how awesome it would be to find a nice mood lifter on a bad day. I’m so stealing your traditions!!! One tradition we have is to exchange ornaments for the tree. In just 3 years we have accumulated so many and its nice to decorate and see the memories from the previous years.
